When your partner is lazy and you cook for them, you do it with resentment.

Same activity, different feeling. Same activity, different story.

As you go about your day today, pay attention to what stories you’re telling yourself. What meaning do you assign to your actions?

And as you get back to work tomorrow, again pay attention to your inner narrative. There are work tasks you’ve been avoiding. Can you tell yourself a different, positive, meaningful story about them instead? Reframing what you need to do can make all the difference.
