Why you should speak with people

October 7, 2018

Rather than saying that you'll speak to people, get into the habit of saying you'll speak with people.

When you say you'll speak to someone, you convey that you have a message to deliver. It's a one-way transfer.

But when you say you'll speak with someone, it's a two-way conversation. You indicate that you want to listen as well as speak.

— Peter
