How to have more interesting conversations

November 10, 2018

You can read the title both ways.

How to have more interesting conversations or how to have more interesting conversations.

Either way, the technique is the same:

Tell people what you care about. Make yourself vulnerable. And say what you really think.

Some people won't want to have a conversation on deep or serious topics with you. That's all right. This forces you to seek out others with whom you can have more interesting conversations.

What about when you are already speaking with someone who is comfortable talking about deeper topics? In that case, making yourself vulnerable, sharing your opinions freely, and telling them what matters will kickstart a more interesting conversation.

Yours,

— Peter
