BIG-PICTURE PRODUCTIVITY

Clarify your goals and achieve them.

Does this sound familiar?

You’re great at setting goals… but not so great at achieving them.

You have big plans… but you feel overwhelmed and don’t know where to start.

You spend a lot of time on email… but not enough time on what really matters.

When we talk about productivity, you might think of to-do lists, your calendar, and apps to help you focus. But life isn’t about how many tasks you complete.

It’s about whether you’re happy. Whether you’re living a life in line with your values. Whether you’re reaching the goals that you’ve set for yourself.

But we all have so many things going on. So many projects and people who want our attention. It’s easy to get overwhelmed and to get stuck.

That’s why I made this course: Big-Picture Productivity.

Imagine this:

You know what you want. You’ve clarified your goals. You’ve identified actionable projects to meet those goals. You’ve scheduled those projects. You know what to work on next. And you know how to avoid distractions and how to keep going.

In short, you have a plan—and you’re sticking to it.

How can you get there? By following this course, in which I will take you, step by step, from where you are now to where you want to be. The course is actionable, is laid out in a sequence where we build on what we did previously, and will teach you a periodic process to stay on track.

You’ll learn how to keep sight of the Big Picture in everything you do, so that you can focus on what matters.

Your instructor

Hi, I’m Peter Akkies.

A few years ago, I wrote a blog post on how I used my task manager. That post blew up. So I decided to teach productivity in a more structured way.

Today, I’ve taught over 700 happy students. I’ve also been featured on popular websites such as The Sweet Setup and the YouTube channel Keep Productive.

I’m also into bouldering, scuba diving, Formula 1, the Philadelphia Eagles, veganism, and escape rooms.

“I’ve only completed 29% of the course so far, but I have already seen internal changes in my thinking and confidence. Clarifying goals is sooo helpful.”
Susan Mullen

Frequently asked questions

How much time does the course take to complete?

This is an in-depth course, with video lessons as well as exercises and workbooks. Only watching the videos will take a few hours. If you do all the exercises and workbooks thoroughly, expect a few dozen hours.

That said, you get lifetime access to the course, so you can go at the speed that works for you.

How long will I have access to the course?

There’s no limit! The course is always up, so you can access it now and refer back to it whenever you’d like. You’ll also get access to course updates and new lessons.

Do I need to own specific devices or use specific apps?

Nope!

You can follow this course whether you use a Mac or a PC; whether your main computer is your iPad or your Dell; and whether you like to use the fanciest task manager or the simplest pen-and-paper to-do list.

(If you do own a Dell though… walk into an Apple Store and check out the Macs sometime.)

Do I need to have taken any of your other courses?

No, you don’t need to have taken any of my other courses. If you have already taken one of my other courses, you’ll find that the module on task management in this course offers a bigger picture and that parts of that module will serve as a nice refresher.

What’s your refund policy?

I do not offer refunds.
