Feeling overwhelmed? Not as productive as you could be?
If you wish you could use Todoist to get organized, but you haven’t found a system that works for you, you’re in the right place.
In this video course, you’ll learn a Todoist workflow you can rely on.
Picture this:
Let’s make that happen for you.
“I just finished Module 1, Capturing your To-Dos, and I already feel like I’ve gotten my money’s worth from the course.
It’s not just the actionable 1-2-3 steps that Peter gives you, it’s the clearly laid out process that has re-grounded my thinking about how to be more productive.”
Tasks at home. Projects at work. Being there for your friends and family. Staying healthy. Taking care of your finances. It’s a lot.
It’s a lot, but it’s manageable with the right system.
With the right system, you can stay on top of your email. You can consistently get around to your most important tasks. And you can meet your deadlines.
Todoist can be a great foundation of that system—if you set it up right. And that’s where this course comes in.
Of course, you’ll learn lots of Todoist-specific things too, like how dates work, how to use the various types of projects, how to use Focus Mode to concentrate on specific parts of your life, and more.
You’ll learn exactly what you need—no more and no less. I’ve designed the course to be as efficient as possibly.
You could piece together information on using Todoist from random places all over the Internet. But how long would that take? And what is your time worth to you?
When you follow this course, you’ll learn everything you need to know to organize your life and to be productive using Todoist. You’ll save tons on time compared to figuring things out yourself.
Think about what you could do with the extra time. You could spend it with your kids. You could spend it learning to play the guitar. Or you could, you know, spend the time doing the actual work you want to do!
That’s what learning a Todoist workflow you can trust will do for you.
“I loved learning more about Todoist’s features, and more importantly the concept of a weekly review. I've toyed with this in the past, but struggled with a format. Peter’s makes so much sense to me.”
If you’re not happy with the course, just let me know within 30 days of your purchase and I’ll give you a full refund. No drama, no questions asked.
You can choose to get access to my goal-setting workshop, Translating Your Goals Into Action. The workshop takes a few hours to work through and you’ll walk away with:
What’s more, you get a handy, step-by-step workbook.
You can also choose to get personal feedback from me on your Todoist setup. Here’s how that works:
If you’d like to get your Todoist workflow dialed in as quickly as possible, choose the personal feedback option.
The foundation of organizing your life and getting stuff done is capturing your to-dos. We’ll start by making that really easy.
Your task manager gets way more powerful—and your mind gets clearer—when you organize your to-dos into areas and projects. So that’s what we’ll work on next.
The secret to being productive is to clearly prioritize your days and to plan ahead. We’ll cover how to do that with Todoist.
One of Todoist’s great strengths is that it works well with the other apps you already use. So we’ll set up some integrations.
After you learn the basic Todoist workflows and system, we’ll make using Todoist as friction-free as possible.
Todoist allows you to share tasks and projects with others in personal projects (e.g. with your spouse) or at work. You’ll learn how to track to-dos from any part of your life, while keeping work and home separate when you want to focus.
“Peter is a very engaging communicator, anticipating questions, covering everything clearly, and making Todoist accessible and a joy to use.”
Hi, I’m Peter Akkies
After graduating from a top college (Swarthmore, for the curious), I went to work in litigation consulting. I faced a never-ending to-do list and was always involved in many projects simultaneously. I didn’t have much free time.
After a few years, I decided to quit and start my own business. I soon began to teach people how to use task management apps to organize their lives, the way I wished I had when I worked in consulting.
These days, I can’t imagine my life without my to-do system. And I use what I learned as a consultant and in running my own business to help people like you get more organized. I’ll show you how to use the right workflows and systems to be more productive, and feel less overwhelmed.
For an introduction to my productivity philosophy, listen to my appearance on the popular Modern Wisdom podcast, episode 660 (Spotify, YouTube). You can also read more about me or listen to me tell my story on my own (former) podcast.
Anyway, shall we get started?
“Peter’s course is easy to follow but still comprehensive. The speed is very good—not too slow.”

This course is self-paced, so you can start it whenever you like and take as long as you need.
You won’t only learn where the buttons are in Todoist (though that is part of the course, too). We will go beyond that: you’ll learn a simple yet effective workflow that you can use, right away, to get stuff done.

Yes, just email me.
Todoist looks like a really simple app, but it has lots of powerful features. They’re just not immediately visible at first glance. And some features, like using filters to slice and dice your data, require a bit of learning to use. So I made a cheat sheet to help you out. Get the cheat sheet.
